What:

• Volunteer 30 minutes a week to read with a WCPSS student(s)
• Inspire a love of books and reading
• Read one-on-one with K-2nd grade students
• A time for students to have fun with books!
• “Heroes Read” students receive books for their home libraries
• Volunteer training is provided!

When:

• October 2024 - mid May 2025 (weekly)
• “Heroes Read” takes place during the school day Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays
• Time commitment- 30 minutes per week, or an hour if you would like to read with more than one student, or more if you would like more than one day.
• Volunteers accepted anytime!
