      Our Vision

Our vision is that Zebulon Gifted and Talented Magnet Elementary School exhibits high standards to provide a safe, rigorous academic setting while understanding the needs and cultivating the gifts and talents of our diverse population of students, families, and our community to empower successful leaders in our present and future.

      Our Magnet Program Vision

Integrating design thinking in the classroom empowers students to create and explain products using their content knowledge, fostering empathy and a growth mindset through risk-taking and continuous learning. Teachers support this process by stepping back to let students take the lead, integrating design thinking into the curriculum, and modeling these principles in their teaching. This shift results in enhanced problem-solving skills, proactive learning behaviors, and a stronger connection to the existing curriculum, culminating in a year-end showcase that celebrates student achievements.
