Posted by Matt Price on 5/18/2026 7:00:00 PMGood evening, Trojans. This is principal Matthew Price with your weekly announcements.
Wednesday will be our last 8-period remediation day of the year. It is very important that students are looking at their Infinite Campus portal now to determine if there is anything they can do to get their grades as strong as possible going into final exams.
This is a reminder for Senior parents who are interested in extra graduation tickets that we are offering additional tickets for any parent who serves as a proctor during our exam time. Parents who proctor will have first priority for extra tickets. We will have a sign-up list for all other families requesting more tickets if there are any left over after we distribute to proctors. Please email Ms. Wilmer at kwilmers@wcpss.net if you are willing to proctor.
As we begin to finalize grades, please be aware that your student may be eligible for Summer School. If this applies to your student, you can sign them up on our school website beginning today. Summer School will be held from July 6-31 from 8:30 am-11:30 am and daily attendance will be required. Please see our school website or your student’s counselor for more information.

May 11-15 is the disconnect to reconnect week. This is Sophia Isenhour's Gold award project. Her goal is to lower students' screen time and help them be aware of their screen usage. All students can do this by scanning any of the QR codes on the posters in the halls. This will take them to a Google form that they can fill out. Then the students stay off their phones for the rest of the week and finish the form to win prizes
