  • Battle of the Books

    Battle of the Books

    Battle of the Books (BOB) encourages reading. The Jeopardy-style game format creates interest and excitement in reading. Through BOB, students develop life-long skills in teamwork, mature in their choices of reading materials, and create lasting friendships. We compete against other Wake County high schools in the county competition; the county winner competes in the regional competition, and the regional winner competes at the state competition.

    The Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy is a national organization with a goal of helping students develop leadership skills through variety of activities and projects with the focus on community service. Come join the our next group of leaders! If you have leadership potential; are positive, reliable, caring, thoughtful, have good judgement and character. If you are a positive influence. Come join us! We are limited to 30 students. Meetings will be once a month for approximately 1 hour after school.
