East Millbrook Magnet Middle Academy of Arts and Design has a thriving band program. Beginners and experienced musicians have a variety of opportunities at the Academy. Imagine playing in the Pep Band at an athletic event, performing at the NC Governors Mansion, and sharing music with our community at retirement homes, and local malls. Are you ready to showcase how your musical skills have grown by competing with your peers on the festival stage at Bush Gardens and other competition venues? Our band students share their gifts and talents locally and regionally.

Greg Whitt, Living Rhythms Percussion Ensemble, Degrees of Brass. Our band students regularly collaborate with professional musicians. Our band students collaborate with the band at Millbrook High School.
