I am a Meredith College graduate with a degree in Psychology as well as my K-6 License to teach.  I also have my Academically and Intellectually Gifted License from UNC-C.  I have been teaching for almost 20 years.  Wendell Elementary became my school family several years ago when our oldest started kindergarten.  My husband and I love all things Wendell and raising our 3 boys here.  In my spare time I love spending time at the beach, reading and most of all cheering my boys on in the sports they play.  Teaching is my dream come true and what I have known I wanted to do since I was a little girl.  All children have their own SMARTS and I love to nurture them!
