About: Hello, everyone! This year I will be working as an elementary CCR teacher while working on my Master's at NC State! I received my undergraduate degree from NC State in Elementary and Special Education. Originally, I am from Long Island, New York, and moved to Apex, North Carolina, 10 years ago! I am so excited to be working at Hilburn this year!!

About: I'm Daniel Lamar Grant-King, a proud native of Brooklyn, New York, and several cities in New Jersey. I'm the youngest of five children and an uncle to four nieces and two nephews. I work as a Special Education Educator with WCPSS and actively serve my community as the Secretary of the Wake County Young Democrats, Chairman of the North Carolina Education Advocacy Committee, and Secretary of the North Carolina PTA. I'm also a candidate for the Raleigh City Council District C. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
