Mrs. Hummel- Special Education PreK Teacher
About: I received my Child Development degree and Birth through Kindergarten license from Meredith College and later completed my National Boards certification. I began teaching at Hilburn in the fall of 2003. I have a love for children from birth to five with special needs, and I enjoy finding their strengths and interests to help them grow and develop to their full potential. I'm originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and I love spending time with my four children—Alexander, Robert, Davis, and Mary-Rane—whether it's at swim team practices, swim meets, going to the pool, attending church, or just being at home. My husband Andy and I stay busy with all their activities.
