- 2026-27 Application dates and events.
- Sep. 2 – Initial draft presented to the Board. All parents will be notified via email and text. Website published with detailed information about proposed changes. Online parent feedback forum, ThoughtExchange, opens. Parents can enter their address into a student assignment lookup tool on this date to see if they are proposed to be directly affected.
- Sep. 3.- Oct. 5– ThoughtExchange is open and collecting feedback and questions on the initial draft. Staff members respond to online parent feedback and questions by updating the FAQ page.
- Virtual Information Sessions for the initial draft:
- Sep. 9, 6 - 7:30 p.m. - Hilltop Needmore Elementary and other related proposed changes. Attend virtually.
- Sep. 11, 6 - 7:30 p.m. - Apex area proposed changes Attend virtually.
- Sep. 17, 6 - 7:30 p.m. - Eastern area proposed changes and a general overview Attend virtually.
- Sep. 24, 6 - 8:00 p.m.: In-person open house and general overview of the initial draft at Hilltop Needmore Elementary.
- Oct. 21 – Board Work Session to review feedback received on initial draft.
- Oct. 21 – Public hearing during a Board Meeting.
- Nov. 18 – Final Plan discussed during Board Work Session.
- Nov. 18 – Board votes on the final plan during Board Meeting.
- Nov. 25 – Dec. 12 - Stability transfer window. * Date subject to change based on Board approval.
