Ms. Terry graduated from Brigham Young University in 2022 with a degree in Dance Education. During her time at BYU, she completed internships at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. She also performed with the university’s contemporary dance group, Dance Ensemble. Since 2022, she has been teaching dance in the public school system in North Carolina. A lifelong dancer, Ms. Terry has found deep meaning in the art form through expression, community, and creativity. She believes dance education goes far beyond performance. It fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and essential 21st century skills that help students thrive both on the dance floor and beyond.
