Missi Foster
Mrs. Foster will be starting her 7th year at Centennial and her 26th year as a teacher. For her five years at Centennial Mrs. Foster worked as a 6th grade math teacher, but as of last year, she began working as a special education teacher supporting students in reading and math. Prior to coming to Centennial, she has served as an instructional coach, an elementary teacher, and a special education teacher. In addition to teaching in Wake County, she has also taught in Pitt County, Randolph County, Asheboro City, and Guilford County. Mrs. Foster received her undergraduate degree in Special Education from Appalachian State University and her Master’s Degree from East Carolina University. She is certified in special education, elementary education, and K-6 math education. Mrs. Foster is married and has three adult children and a boxer named Hank. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time at the beach and the mountains.
