Ashley Ringwood is going into her second year of teaching at Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School and her thirteenth year of teaching overall. Mrs. Ringwood is originally from Detroit, Michigan and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education (Social Studies) from Eastern Michigan University. After two years of teaching high school and middle school in Detroit, she decided to move across the country to Phoenix, Arizona to continue her teaching career as a middle school ELA and Social Studies educator. Mrs. Ringwood’s time in Arizona allowed her to follow her passion of helping others in the community, hiking, traveling, and gave her the opportunity to meet her wonderful husband. In 2020, Mrs. Ringwood and her husband moved to North Carolina to be closer to family and to continue her career. Mrs. Ringwood looks forward to being creative this year at Centennial and making ELA fun for her students. The best way to learn is through hands-on activities and experiences, and she looks forward to bringing that into the classroom this school year.
