Ms. Newkirk is a 7th grade math teacher in her second year of teaching middle school. She proudly serves as the Math Department Chair for the first time this school year. She is passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment where all students feel seen, valued, and challenged to grow. Ms. Newkirk is committed to building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support both academic success and personal development. Her goal is to help students reach their full potential, not just in the classroom, but as responsible citizens, future professionals, and community leaders. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Newkirk enjoys both basketball and dance, and she often uses these passions to connect with students while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and perseverance.
