I am very excited to begin my first year at FVMS.  I was born and raised in Kentucky.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education from Kentucky Christian University and received my Master's degree in Library Science at East Carolina University.  This is my tenth year as a media specialist.  I also taught middle grades Science and ELA for a few years.  I have worked in Pitt and Lee counties.  I am married and have three children and a dog.  I love watching sports and spending time with my family.
