Social Studies Teacher
My name is Kyle Mitchell, and I am excited to be joining FVMS for the 2021-2022 school year! I have spent the past four years teaching Social Studies in Virginia, but I am excited to start this new chapter closer to family. I am a graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. I have been married for four years to my wife, Heidi, and we have a five-month-old son, Bennett.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, cooking, watching sports, and being outdoors. As an educator, I have a passion for helping all students succeed in the classroom and I strive to create a learning environment that nurtures student’s growth in a positive, productive, and engaging way. I am thrilled to join the Bengal family and look forward to a great school year!
