Social Studies Teacher

Mrs. Squires is originally from St. Louis, Missouri where she started her teaching career and then moved and has spent the last 10 years in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.  She has taught high school social studies for the first 14 years of her career but is now extremely excited to be teaching middle school! She earned her bachelor’s degree in education at Southeast Missouri State and her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction at Concordia University in Chicago. She has been married for 11 years to her husband, Keith and has 2 children, Adeline and Kellen, who make life worth living.  In her free time, Mrs. Squires loves to watch her kids play sports, travel to the beach, hang with the family dogs, Jack and Duncan, and exercise.  She is looking forward to an amazing school year!
