Mrs. Carvalho is originally from Needham, Massachusetts a small suburb of Boston.  She graduated from Keene State College in New Hampshire with a degree in Human Services. She worked as a Foster Care Case Manager for several years. She went on to attend Cambridge College and earned her master’s degree in School Counseling. She spent the next 10 years working as a middle school counselor. After 10 years she made that choice to stay home with her kids. During that time, her and her family relocated to North Carolina. Now that her kids are all in school Mrs. Carvalho has joined the Bengal family as our new School Counselor. Mrs. Carvalho is married, and a mother of 4 and if she ever has a free moment she enjoys being at the beach, spending time with friends, and watching a good movie!
