Ralph Waldo Emerson said "No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings" and it is my hope that I am able to help the students of Fuquay-Varina use their wings to their fullest potential!  I am fortunate enough to be a staff member at Fuquay-Varina Middle School and Fuquay-Varina Elementary School which allows me to know many of my students for a large portion of their education.  What an honor!  I am a graduate of Appalachian State University (Go Mountaineers!).  I earned my Gifted Education Specialist license from Coastal Carolina University and I also have a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from North Carolina Central University.  I am National Board certified and I have been teaching for 16 years, 13 of which have been dedicated to the education of gifted learners.  I love our community and look forward to another year of contributing to the education of our students.
