I am the FVMS Intervention Coordinator as well as the Reading Acceleration & Support teacher. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education from UNC Pembroke and a Masters of Education from Fayetteville State University. I am licensed to teach Reading in grades K-12, Academically & Intellectually Gifted students in grades K-12, English Language Arts in grades 6-9, and Social Studies in grades 6-9. This is my 15th year teaching and my 6th year in Wake County. 

 

I am also the mother of 4 wonderful children ages 20-30 and 5 grandchildren. The beach is my all-time favorite place to be and I am an avid consumer of chocolate! I enjoy reading, hiking, swimming, classic rock, and Game of Thrones. 

 

I truly believe all students can be successful and I am excited to be teaching at Fuquay-Varina Middle School! Go Bengals!!
