Hi! My name is Ms. Harmon and I am a 3rd grade teacher at LPE.  This is my fourteenth year teaching and my eighth year at Laurel Park. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2006. Go Mountaineers! One of my greatest professional accomplishments was earning National Board Certification in 2010. I have two daughters and a 14 year old dog named Stella. When I’m not teaching, my favorite place to be is outside! I love exploring my yard and pond with my daughters, going hiking, camping, and rocking on my front porch. I also love to bring nature inside with my ever growing houseplant collection. I am excited to spend another year helping kids learn and grow!
