PreACT

  •

    Testing Date: November 13, 2025

Please contact our testing coordinator with any questions: shs-testing@wcpss.net

The Pre-ACT is a standardized, curriculum-based, multiple-choice achievement test that includes four areas: English, mathematics, reading and science, reported on the same scale as the ACT. All sections are completed during one test session.

At Sanderson, the PreACT will be given to all 10th grade students. Students will receive information through their homeroom as we get closer to the testing date. Students do not need to register as this is a required state exam.

Calculators are not provided. Students can complete the math exam without a calculator. If you want to use a calculator, please refer to the ACT website for approved calculators: https://www.act.org/content/dam/act/unsecured/documents/ACT-calculator-policy.pdf

Parents and students can read more about the PreACT test here:  https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/preact.html
