Hello! My name is Jennifer Walston and I teach English as a Second Language. I have taught for 18 years in Wake County and also worked with Wake Tech’s adult ESL and GED programs for 4 years. I was born and raised on the North Carolina coast and am a UNCW graduate. 

I have been married to my husband for 22 years and we have two amazing children. My daughter attends Lees McRae College where she plays softball and my son is in high school. When not at school, you most likely will find me at a sporting event. In my free time, I love to read, visit family and soak up the sun at the beach. I also love traveling to tropical places and taking my dog, Roxy, on long walks. 

I am driven daily to provide quality learning opportunities for my students that enable them to communicate effectively in English, both in spoken and written form. I motivate students to give their best efforts and focus on meeting their individual learning needs.
