  • Wake Tech Fall 2024 Open House

    Fall Open House is set for 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 on Southern Wake Campus. Students and families can take advantage of the following:

    • Explore our academic programs
    • Get help navigating the admissions and financial aid processes
    • Discover our support services and resources
    • Learn about our newest location in Wendell

NC COUNTDOWN TO COLLEGE (C2C)

  • NC Countdown to College (C2C) is a month-long initiative when free virtual sessions are offered to help high school seniors learn more about these three important college (community college and 4-year colleges) enrollment steps: 
    1. Completing the required NC Residency Form
    2. Completing college applications and sending transcripts
    3. Applying for financial aid
    Many North Carolina colleges and universities participate in C2C by waiving application fees during College Application Week (CAW) - a great way to save on college costs! This year, CAW begins on October 21 at 7:30 a.m. and ends on October 27 at 11:59 p.m.

ON-SITE COLLEGE VISITS - CAREER CENTER

SAT & ACT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS AT UNC COLLEGES

  • The Univeristy of North Carolina System's (17 in-state colleges) new requirement for students applying to enter any UNC colleges in the Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 semester is below.
    1. Minimum weighted GPA of 2.5
    2. Testing: Students with a weighted high school GPA greater than or equal to 2.50 and less than 2.80 are required to submit a standardized test score (ACT or SAT).
