All Wake County middle and high schools must show the Protecting Our Students videos to grades 6–12 each year, as required by a 2023 state law. Every FG student will view the videos at some point throughout the school year. Developed by the Center for Safer Schools with Capitol Broadcasting Company, these age-appropriate videos teach students how to recognize inappropriate behavior, stay safe, and seek help from trusted adults. Please review this letter to learn more about the program and contact your student's counselor if you have any concerns.
