The Girls Who Code Club aims to close the gender gap and encourage more women to enter the tech industry. Members will receive free notebooks, t-shirts, and stickers.
If you are planning to attend Men's Basketball Tryouts this year on October 29th, please complete this
Google Form so we can have an accurate head count for planning purposes. Tryouts will be held from 2:30-4:30 in the Main Gym after school. All participants need to have their Dragonfly account 100% complete and approved by our staff prior to tryouts. Please email Coach Davis (jdavis14@wcpss.net) with any questions.
The holidays are almost here! Felton Grove High School is collecting donations through our Amazon Wish List to support our school pantry and holiday food drive.

-Our inaugural Homecoming Dance will be held in the Felton Grove Commons on Friday 10/17 from 7-10pm. Tickets can be purchased

-Non-FG students can come as a guest with an FG student. They must complete the form located in the office and return it to the office with a printed “Infinite Campus Summary”
-This form is due to the office by 10/14 at 2:18
-The student will then receive a one-time access code to be able to purchase the ticket

Attention any 10th graders who are interested in becoming members of the National Honor Society: You can begin documenting community service hours accumulated this fall on
this hour log. You can pick up an hour log outside of Mrs. Bryant's room 1626 and ask any questions. Also, if you are interested in helping with peer tutoring, please fill out
this Google Form by Friday October 10th. Please be aware that the required GPA for NHS has not been decided on yet, and students cannot join NHS until after they have attended a school for one full semester. Look out for more information about the National Honor Society from Mrs. Bryant in February!
Apprenticeships Unlocked, A collaborative effort between NCTAP, Wake Tech Community College, Wake Tech Apprenticeships powered by Wake Works, ApprenticeshipNC, and other key partners, highlighting youth and young adult apprenticeships. It is a great opportunity for students, parents, and local businesses to find out more about apprenticeship opportunities in our community. Date: Monday, November 3, 2025, Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Location: WTCC Beltline Education Center - 3200 Bush Street, Raleigh, NC 27609. Register by October 24th. Information regarding AP Exams for 1st Semester/Year-Long AP Courses has been distributed to AP classes and linked
here. Please ensure your AP student has enrolled in their teacher's AP classroom for each AP class they're taking first semester. Failure to enroll in AP Classroom will result in an AP Exam not being ordered. The joining/ordering process for 2nd Semester AP Classes will take place in January 2026. All 10th graders will take the PreACT on November 6th. There is no registration process - all 10th graders are automatically registered.
All students will have the opportunity to take the PSAT in the spring semester for a fee. Dates, registration and fee details will be communicated later in the school year.
