Aerospace Engineering
The Aerospace Engineering Club offers students the opportunity to explore the exciting world of aerospace and aviation. Meeting weekly on Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:00 PM in room 505, this club dives into the science, technology, and engineering behind flight. Open to all students, it provides hands-on experiences and discussions that ignite curiosity and deepen understanding of the aerospace industry. African Student Organization (ASO)
Purpose: To promote African culture and education, giving African students here at Southeast a place to connect and non-Africans an opportunity to learn more about different cultures and also participate in fun activities.
Meeting Details: Every 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month, 2100 Hallway - Learning Space Upstairs, 2:40 pm - 3:40 pm
Membership: Members must attend at least three meetings a quarter.

Black Student Union
The Black Student Union at SRMHS is dedicated to fostering cultural awareness, community involvement, and celebrating the uniqueness of our student population. Meeting weekly on Tuesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 PM in Kia Sutton's room, the club works to strengthen relationships between families and the broader community. E-Sports Club

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
Purpose: To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. To aid coaches and athletes in growing a relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. Our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence.
Meetings: Wednesday mornings, 6:55 to 7:20 am

French Honor Society
French Honor Society
The French Honor Society (SHF) is dedicated to celebrating the French language and Francophone cultures. Members engage in activities that promote linguistic and cultural appreciation while developing leadership skills by serving as officers, leading events, and organizing the induction ceremony.
Meetings: Monthly on Mondays at 2:30 PM

Japanese National Honor Society (JNHS)
Purpose: The Japanese National Honor Society (JNHS) recognizes and encourages achievement and excellence in the study of the Japanese language. JNHS is a way to recognize outstanding students, to encourage them to continue in the study of Japanese, and to promote activities that give students ways to use their language skills.
Meetings: Will be decided by the officers of the club but will be monthly
Membership Eligibility Requirements:- Have completed at least Japanese 2 with a GPA in Japanese of 3.5
- Must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Complete 15 hours or more of community service (At least 5 hours of service that is Japanese related.
- Attend the meetings monthly and actively participate in the activities throughout each year.

Latino Student Union Club
The Latino Student Union Club is dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness of Latino culture, traditions, and history. Meeting bi-weekly on Thursdays from 2:30 to 3:30 PM in room 1711, the club provides a space for students to share their cultural values, such as music, dance, and Dia de los Muertos, while building a supportive community. Media Club
The Media Club captures the moments that matter by producing photos and videos from school events and activities. Members gain experience in photography, videography, and digital storytelling while showcasing the best of our school.

National Beta Club
Purpose: Founded on the following four pillars: Achievement, Character, Leadership, & ServiceMission Statement: To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among secondary school students. To reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.
Vision Statement: National Beta, a student-centered organization, continually develops and nurtures individuals by providing opportunities and experiences, enabling them to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service and leadership in a global community.
The club's goals/objectives include volunteering for works of service in whatever form that the students are able to serve. A goal of 40 hours during the course of one year is set, but not required. This includes voluntary service to the school, community, and other students.
Membership: New membership includes an application, teacher recommendations, must be a student in good standing (grades), and an initial $32.00 membership fee. Continuing membership fee is $5.00 per year.
Meetings: Meetings are held during lunch periods once a month in the Media Center.-

National Honor Society (NHS)
Purpose: The purpose of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in students of Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School.
Membership:
- Section 1. Membership in this chapter is an honor bestowed upon deserving students by the faculty and shall be based on the criteria of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
- Section 2. Membership in this chapter shall be known as active, honorary, and alumni. Active members become alumni members at graduation. Alumni and honorary members have no voice or vote in chapter affairs.
- Section 3. Eligibility: Candidates eligible for selection to this chapter must be members of the sophomore, junior, or senior class. To be eligible for selection to membership in this chapter, the candidate must have been enrolled for a period equivalent to one semester at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School. Candidates eligible for election to the chapter shall have a minimum weighted, cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Upon meeting the grade level, enrollment, and GPA standards, candidates shall then be considered based on their service, leadership, and character.

SE Steppers
SE Steppers
The SE Steppers is a high-energy step team that brings students together through rhythm, movement, and school spirit. Step is a dynamic form of dance that celebrates diversity, teamwork, and creativity while allowing performers to showcase their talents.

Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica – Spanish Honor Society
Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica – Spanish Honor Society
The Spanish Honor Society (SHH) is an academic organization that recognizes high-achieving students in Spanish and Portuguese. Sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP), SHH promotes interest in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian studies through cultural activities and service.

Wake County Speech and Debate Initiative
Purpose: WCSDI members learn the fundamentals of public forum debate and are supported as they compete against other Wake County schools.

WRAL Brain Game Team
Purpose: To organize, prepare, and present a team for the WRAL-TV general knowledge quiz show "Brain Game"
Meetings: Once organized, meet weekly in Mr. Remy's room (307) after school to practice and develop the team.
Membership: Membership is open, anyone may come and participate in the practices. A final team for appearance on the WRAL TV show will be selected prior to our first scheduled competition consisting of three starters and one alternate. Beyond the competitors however, anyone is free to come in and play trivia games with us. We don't collect money, there are no dues or costs associated with the club.

Youth Activism Club
Purpose: Students will teach peers about...
- current affairs pertaining to human rights
- the issues surrounding the community
- how to be involved in the community
- how to be an activist and
Allow peers to be immersed in advocacy and understanding the necessity for human rights awareness and provide volunteering opportunities.
Meetings: Every Monday in Room 405 from 2:35-3:30
Proposed Activities:
Visits from various people and organizations about what they do and how it impacts the community. Every meeting will have a specific discussion about a current affair/issue or aspects of human rights. Go as a group to volunteer/ campaign and design posters for the school to see. Watch school-appropriate informational documentaries and discuss them...different groups within the club that will focus on one thing.
