I am very excited to join the Bulldog Family! I have been working with WCPSS as a receptionist for almost 10 years. This will be my first year as a Data Manager at York. I am looking forward to meeting the staff, students, and families. I look forward to building a strong relationship with everyone in the community, including our Spanish-speaking families and students. I enjoy a good cup of coffee at all times. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family. I love to travel and experience new cultures, foods, and places.

Mrs. Kearns is our lead secretary as of July 2022. She helps to manage staff and school needs - among other things.  Mrs. Kearns has been a part of the York family for quite some time and was an instructional assistant, receptionist, and data manager at York before moving into the lead secretary role. Needless to say, if you have any questions, she can definitely help out!

I grew up in Fayetteville, NC. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a degree in Communications, I moved to Raleigh in 1993. I got married in 1995 and have two boys that are York alumni. From volunteering when my boys attended, subbing or working as an Instructional Assistant, York has been a part of my family since 2006. I enjoy spending time at the beach and watching my boys play sports.
