I am a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.  GO HEELS!  I am a life-long resident of Zebulon and attended Zebulon Elementary as a child. After graduating from college, I was hired as the Physical Education Specialist here at Zebulon Gifted and Talented Magnet Elementary.  I taught my entire 31.5 year career here at ZGTMES before retiring in 2018.  Loving the magnet program and all it has to offer our students, I returned to Zebulon GT Magnet Elementary as the part-time Magnet Coordinator in August, 2018.  Last year, I stepped into the new role of Heroes Read Site Coordinator.  I am excited about heading up this new volunteer/mentor reading program for our little cougars.  My family consists of my husband Greg, 2 sons Garrett (his wife Katherine) and Grant (engineering student at NC State), our dog Wintson, and cat Kitty Girl.  When I am not at school, you will find me camping, watching true crime tv, shopping, or holding my new grandson!
