• Project LEADERS

    Our district has received a federal grant to implement Project LEADERS (Leveraging Employee Advancement to Develop Excellence and Reach Success) in 24 schools meeting specific criteria related to school performance grades, student growth index, Title I or Restart Status, percentage of underrepresented minority students, students qualifying for Free or Reduced Lunch, or teacher attrition rate. Project LEADERS, funded by the Department of Education, aims to recruit, retain, and develop diverse teachers and school leaders to positively impact student achievement.

    Following are the participating schools:

  • Southeastern Area

  • Northern Area

  • Eastern/Northeastern Area

  • Central/Western Area

  • Support available to teachers and school leaders 

    The three-year grant will allow the district to provide bonuses, professional learning stipends, tuition assistance and other support to more than 1,100 teachers and 69 school leaders in the 24 participating schools.

  • Student growth-based bonuses based on EVAAS scores (beginning with 2023-24 scores)

    Interested candidates may access vacancies at each of the 24 participating schools in iCIMS by searching by role (teacher, assistant principal or principal) and school. Internal applicants should first complete the Transfer Request Form before submitting an application via iCIMS.
