North Carolina House Bill 259 requires all high schools in the state to notify currently enrolled students in grade 9 & 10 of the opportunity to graduate from high school after their third year.  This legislation allows for students to apply to be a three-year graduate.  Eligible students are only able to apply for this flexibility if they meet the state’s minimum graduation requirements.

• 3 Year Graduate Request
  ​This form can be used by students to request to graduate in 3 Years for a total of 22 credits.  Students who plan to request to be a 3-year graduate will be required to meet with their counselor and an administrator.
