High school students in North Carolina can get a head start on college – for free!  They can take college courses and earn college credits while still in high school!   
Career and College Promise, or CCP, allows eligible high school students to take college courses at Wake Tech. It is sometimes referred to as dual enrollment.
CCP offers two pathways, depending on a student’s goals.  Each pathway includes specific coursework.

Prospective Career and College Promise students are required to attend an information session where they will learn about eligibility requirements, the application process, and pathways and course offerings. Sessions are held each semester – for the upcoming semester – on our Wake Tech Campuses as well as at local, community sites. All information sessions are open for anyone to attend. Parents are encouraged but not required to attend with their students.

CONTINUING STUDENT APPLICATIONS

To complete your application you will need to upload a pdf of your high school transcript.  Follow these steps:

• Go to https://wcpss.scriborder.com/
• Click on the backpack
• Complete the required star items in the form.  
• If you don't have a drivers license, you can click on the ? and select "Do Not Have ID"
• Enter your delivery address as your personal address. 
• Under Select the Information type, select College and Career Promise
• At the bottom, type your initials and sign your name
• Click the Update Fees - Prepare For Checkout
