Graduation Requirements

Math: 4 Credits in Math
- NC Math 1 (academic or honors)
- NC Math 2 (academic or honors)
- NC Math 3 (academic or honors)
- NC Math 4 (academic or honors or Discrete Math for Computer Science Honors), there are also options for AP; AP Precalculus, AP Statistics. For 4-year college, taking math each year in high school is highly recommended.
English: 4 Credits in English
- English 1 (academic or honors)
- English 2 (academic or honors)
- English 3 (academic or honors or AP Lang)
- English 4 (academic or honors or AP Lit)
Social Studies: 4 Credits in Social Studies
- World History (academic or honors or AP World)
- Civic Literacy (academic or honors or AP Government)
- American History (academic or honors or AP US History)
- Econ and Personal Finance (academic or honors)
Science: 3 Credits in Science
- Earth Environmental Science (academic or honors or AP Earth)
- Biology (academic or honors)
- Physical Science (academic or Chemistry, Chemistry Honors, or Physics Honors)
Health&PE: 1 Credit
- Healthful Living (academic or honors)
- & completion of CPR (often completed in middle school)
Elective Credit Combination: 2 Credits
- 2 credits in: Arts, Foreign Language, and/or CTE courses (can be a mix and match of courses, i.e. an arts and a CTE, or CTE and foreign language, etc.)
A minimum of 22 credits is required to graduate.
