Kihra Carpenter(known as MS. KC or MS.C) is originally from Detroit, MI. She has been dancing for 22 years. She is well-versed in ballet, modern/contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and auxiliary/majorette. She received her bachelor's in public health with a dance certification from the International Dance Teaching Standards in 2022. She is currently pursuing two master’s degrees: one in dance education and the other in Sports Medicine, with a concentration in neuromechanics. In 2012, she was selected as an All-American dancer for Varsity Spirit and has been a traveling choreographer since 2015. 

 

Ms. Carpenter plans to continue building a dynamic, inclusive, and student-centered dance program that cultivates artistic expression, physical literacy, cultural appreciation, and personal growth. She believes in using dance as a powerful tool for self-discovery, teamwork, and community-building.
