To be eligible to apply to the Academy of Biomedical Science, students must be assigned to Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School.

 

The Academy has an open and equitable student recruitment process that results in a student body that reflects the demographics of the school community. 

 

The academy is designed as a four-year-high school program. Students are expected to commit to the program for the duration of the high school experience. The academy requires specific courses as well as an internship before high school graduation. 

 

 

Interested students should complete the application. Spaces are limited for each class. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as they are assigned to Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School. 

 

Please note: A teacher's recommendation is required on the academy application.  The students will need to provide the teacher's name and email address of the teacher who will be providing the recommendation. Please obtain the teacher's email address to complete the application. We will email the teacher a link to complete the recommendation.
