I am beyond thrilled to be at NRE! I am a Raleigh native. My twin sister and I went to North Ridge ES for 4th and 5th grade 1986-88. My husband, Tommy, my two children (Emma Reese (10) Brewer (9) and our fur babies (2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 bunny) live in North Ridge! This is my 23rd year teaching, and even though I’ve taught K-5, this is my first year teaching Second Grade! I love to play tennis, read, go to the beach, and shop! My passion is teaching with joy, love, and a little gold glitter. I hope you are excited to read amazing books, have fun creating, collaborating, asking questions - being inquisitive, showing off your talents, and most importantly having fun laughing and learning!

Mrs. Lisa Clark
Hello! I am Lisa Clark. I am very excited to be a unicorn! I grew up in Michigan and received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. This is my 22nd year teaching in some capacity. Most of my experience has been in First Grade. Prior to arriving at North Ridge, I taught at Abbotts Creek Elementary and at Brassfield Elementary. My husband and I are the parents of 4 boys. I enjoy reading, traveling, going for walks, and playing board games or hide-and-seek with my family. I look forward to getting to know more about your child as we set the foundation for a wonderful elementary school experience!

Ms. Caroline Evers
My name is Caroline Evers and this will be my first full year of teaching at North Ridge! I joined the unicorns back in March 2023 and am so excited to be continuing my journey as one. I am originally from Long Island, NY, and recently moved to Cary, NC. I love going on walks, cooking, going to new restaurants, and spending time with those I love. I am looking forward to having a magical school year.

Ms. Vanessa Jeanty
My name is Vanessa Jeanty. I was born in Seattle and raised in Raleigh. I will be going into my fifth year of teaching this school year and am so very excited! I attended East Carolina University and earned my Bachelor's in 2019 and Master's degree in 2023 in Elementary Education. I began teaching in 2019 and have taught in grades third and first. I look forward to my first year here at North Ridge and to create a learning environment in which my students support and respect one another!
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my cat, Milo. Some of my favorite things are reading, writing, and traveling when I can.

Ms. Ashlee Little
Hi, I’m Ashlee Little, a second grade teacher at North Ridge Elementary! I’m so excited to be a Unicorn! Born and raised in Raleigh, I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Meredith College. I received my undergraduate degree in Communications from Appalachian State University.
Before joining the North Ridge team, I worked as a project manager in the technology industry for nearly a decade. Because of that experience, I have a passion for integrating technology into our classroom in meaningful ways. I aim to create a classroom community that allows my students to feel safe, accepted, and loved.
When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my rescue dog, Boone the beagle.
