Mrs. Meredith Jarrett
Hello Unicorn Families! I am Mrs. Jarrett and I am a native of Raleigh! Prior to coming to North Ridge, I taught for 11 years in other Wake County schools. I am so proud to be a part of the NRE family! I earned my teaching degree from UNC-Wilmington and my Master’s Degree in Reading from Grand Canyon University. I am also a National Board Certified teacher and a certified Mentor for Beginning Teachers in Wake County.
On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children, going to UNC football games and traveling. I look forward to getting to know each of the fourth graders this school year as we work together to help our scholars on all of their learning endeavors. My goal as a fourth-grade teacher is to prepare our students for middle school. I will focus on self-confidence, organizational skills, and time management. Please remember that “Communication is one of the many keys to success,” so if you have any questions and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to email me at mjarrett2@wcpss.net.

Mrs. Elizabeth Wright
Hello Unicorns! I’m Beth Wright, and I am ecstatic to be teaching at North Ridge this year! I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Elementary Education and earned my Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University. I began my teaching career in Phoenix, Arizona, teaching 6th grade ESL. After 8 years in the 6th grade, I then transitioned to 8th grade STEM, where I spent 6 years. After a move to Raleigh, NC, I have found my niche as a unicorn at North Ridge.
It is my goal, as a homeroom teacher, to ensure every child feels important, powerful, challenged and successful. I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with your children in reaching their goals. My husband and I have two children, Madilyn and Jaxon. We enjoy trips to the beach, reading books, and Mario Kart.
