Ms. Clare James (Teacher - PreK Part Day)
Hello! My name is Clare James. This is my first year at North Ridge Elementary School, and I'm excited for this new experience. I attended Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, and received a B.S. in Child Development Birth-Kindergarten Education and a M.A. in Special Education with an Autism Certificate. I began teaching in PreK through Durham Public Schools. I recently moved to Wake County and have been enjoying it so far!

Ms. Maggie Hensley (IA - PreK Part Day)
Hi! My name is Maggie Hensley, and I am excited to be joining the North Ridge team! I have a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from NC State University, and I will soon begin a master’s program in Teaching Birth through Kindergarten. I have experience working with students ages three through twelve in both classroom and summer camp settings.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy creating art, music, reading, and exploring nature trails in the Triangle. I am looking forward to working with PreK this year!

Ms. Jenna Lioi (Teacher - PreK Blended/Title 1)
Hello! My name is Jenna Lioi and I am the PreK Title 1/Blended teacher. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education & Preschool Special Needs from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. Prior to coming to North Ridge, I was teaching PreK at a Head Start School for a few years.
While I am not in school, I enjoy going on walks with my dog, hanging out with family and friends, and crafting! I am so excited to be joining North Ridge Elementary School!

I'm Ms. Taylor, I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. I have been in the Education field since 2012 working with all ages that range from infants-12 years. I enjoy making a difference in each child's life and watching them grow and reach new developmental milestones. I have been a proud Unicorn since 2022.
