I saw many of the students in the carpool or bus loop. My husband is Mr. B and is a 5th grade teacher here. We have three children; Gianna (Broughton High School Math teacher), Bella (Studying for an MBA at Lincoln Memorial University) and our son Giovanni (Attending Wake Tech hoping to go into teaching as well). North Ridge is my home now. Prior to North Ridge, I was an IA at Sycamore Creek and Poe Montessori Magnet. I taught 6 years in Guilford County and 1 year in Charlotte/Mecklenburg Co.
I am a native of Raleigh. I attended Myrtle Underwood, JW York, Carroll, and Sanderson. I have 2 sons, Chase & John, and 3 (adding a 4th in March 2024) grandchildren: Rosemary (4), her brother, Oliver (18 mos), and Sawyer (3). Rosemary & Oliver live in DC; Sawyer in Greensboro.
Prior to being an educator, I was a travel agent/travel agency manager & principal, supported a real estate broker, preschool teacher, substitute teacher/volunteer at New Garden Friends School, children's choir co-director, taught a senior "Stretch & Tone" class, Lead administrator for Trinesys, a third party administrator.
Interests: Playing the organ. Singing sacred music & all sorts of music. Visiting my grandchildren & sons. Wrightsville Beach. Traveling. Wine tasting. Trying new cuisines.
Love: chocolate, wine, various fruits, the beach, fizzy water, hot tea (English Breakfast, Earl Gray, etc.) , Unsweetened iced tea (yes, a travesty for a Southerner!)
