I am honored to serve as the Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School, Magnet and STEM Coordinator - providing 27 years of experience as an educator.  I’ve worked in education as a Reading Coordinator, High School English Teacher, College and Career Developer, and an Education Advisor - sharing dreams and helping to build bright futures.   

SRMHS has phenomenal magnet pathways and academies, supported by an excellent administrative team and highly qualified and certified faculty, driven to catapult our scholars to the next level of competitive post-secondary opportunities.  I'm passionate about being a superior advocate of our Magnet Programs to help ensure a climate that cultivates classical, analytical, innovative, and critical thinkers while marketing, promoting, and recruiting more fine scholars from surrounding areas. 

One of the most important aspects as the Magnet Coordinator is to establish a positive and supportive rapport with our scholars, parents, teachers, and community - ensuring a prideful culture and theme fidelity across the curriculum.
