- Middle School Students – Introductory exposure to STEM and engineering concepts
- High School Students (Rising 9th–12th) – Deeper hands-on engineering experiences and career exploration
Program Notes
- Camps are offered as day camps and residential camps, depending on grade level.
- Residential engineering camps are primarily geared toward rising 11th and 12th grade students.
- Students participate in team-based challenges, design activities, and real-world engineering applications.
Agriculture Pathway Note
-
- There are agriculture-related summer camps available, but those programs are best suited for rising 11th and 12th grade students.
- While this opportunity is being shared with agriculture teachers, the engineering camps are STEM-focused and may not align directly with all agriculture coursework.

The Raleigh Summer Youth Employment Program (RSYEP) application season OFFICIALLY OPENED!
RSYEP is a paid summer work experience for youth ages 15–18 (not currently in college) designed to help young people build real-world job skills, explore career pathways, and gain hands-on experience working with the City of Raleigh. Over eight weeks, participants grow professionally, build confidence, and prepare for their future—while earning a paycheck 💼

• Explore career pathways across IMC’s partner companies
• Build professional skills such as resumé writing, interviewing, and teamwork

What: A paid, weeklong summer career program focused on career exploration, collaboration, and professional skill-building.

Wake Technical Community College -AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY Scholarship

Students will train in the brand-new Hendrick Center for Automotive Excellence on Wake Tech’s Scott Northern Wake Campus. This will essentially pay for their entire cost of the program.

The City of Raleigh's Digital Connectors Program provides technology and leadership training for Raleigh youth 9th to 12th grade. By participating as a Digital Connector, you can expand your leadership and technical skills while serving your community!
The upcoming Fall cohort will be active from August 20 to December 12. Program benefits include developing a deeper understanding of the digital divide, building leadership skills and a stipend.
