This program is specially designed for Wake County high school sophomores who are eager to explore diverse career paths and gain valuable skills for future job success.
About the Program: IMC is seeking 12 motivated sophomores who want to:
- Learn about career pathways across various industries
- Develop essential job success skills and tools
- Build their professional knowledge and networks
What to Expect: This one-week paid program offers engaging sessions and real-world experiences, including:
- Workshops on resumé writing and interview skills
- Site visits to IMC partner companies
- Conversations with business leaders
- Connections within a company that has over 50 years of experience supporting meaningful employment
If you’re ready to take a step toward your future and develop skills that will set you apart, this program is for you! We encourage you to apply and take advantage of this exciting opportunity to jump-start your career journey.
• Students must be able to participate every day from June 22-26, 2026, from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at IMC’s office on N. West St in Raleigh and attend the pitch presentations and celebration from 4:30-6 p.m. on Friday, June 27.
Timeline:
Applications will be available in December 1st, 2025.
Student application deadline is Feb. 1st, 2026
School/program recommendations will be due by Feb. 27, 2026.
Selected students will be notified by March 27, 2026.
Orientation for students and parents/caregivers will be held on May 28, 2026, from 6-7 p.m.
Students will attend program from June 22-26, 2026.

Wake Technical Community College -AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY Scholarship

Students will train in the brand-new Hendrick Center for Automotive Excellence on Wake Tech’s Scott Northern Wake Campus. This will essentially pay for their entire cost of the program.

The City of Raleigh's Digital Connectors Program provides technology and leadership training for Raleigh youth 9th to 12th grade. By participating as a Digital Connector, you can expand your leadership and technical skills while serving your community!
The upcoming Fall cohort will be active from August 20 to December 12. Program benefits include developing a deeper understanding of the digital divide, building leadership skills and a stipend.
