My name is Katherine Walton and I am a proud North Carolina native! I have been teaching in Wake County for over 29 years and I'm an original crew member here at BRES. I love calling Garner home along with my husband Kevin and son Ben. We have two cats, Daisy and Patty as well as two dogs named Bella and Bear. My son is attending NC State this year. Go Pack!

 

When I am not at school I enjoy traveling to new places, shopping, being with friends and family and reading.

 

I have a true passion for education and grew up watching my Grandmother who taught for thirty years. I welcome family to be active participants in their child's educational journey. I cannot wait to welcome you into our beautiful classroom where learning is active, engaging and most of all fun!
