Ahoy Mates! My name is Crystal Snyder and I am so excited to be your Media Specialist! I graduated from Mars Hill University and started my teaching career in Bladen County, my home county, teaching kindergarten. Next, I taught 5th and 4th grades. After marrying my husband Tim I continued my teaching career in Wake County teaching 5th grade at Weatherstone Elementary in Cary, NC. After completing my master’s degree in Library Science I worked in media at both Briarcliff Elementary and Weatherstone Elementary in Cary, NC.

I have 4 children, Mackenzie, Landon, Kendall and Khloey. My family loves to go camping in the mountains, swimming at the NC beaches and singing or playing musical instruments around the piano. It is a blessing to be a Buccaneer, and I can’t wait to go on many adventures with all of you!
