Hi there!  My name is Lucas Leveillee, and I am excited to be joining the Bryan Road Elementary team this year as a fifth grade teacher.  

I am originally from Hollywood, FL and moved to NC last year.  Before that, I spent four years in undergrad at Elon University working on an English degree for both Literature and Creative Writing.  Prior to teaching in Wake County, I was a substitute in the Chapel-Hill Carrboro school system, and I continue to teach weekly at the Art of Problem Solving Academy in Morrisville.

In my time outside of the classroom, I am a member of several community sports leagues for team sports like kickball, dodgeball, bowling, etc.  I also enjoy writing and reading in my free time, finding new books to inspire me and share with my friends.  I also love to travel and am still finding cool new spots in Raleigh.

I love teaching, and my goal is to create a classroom where all students can find learning fun and rewarding.
