Hello families! My name is Mrs. Hollinger and I will serve as the new AIG teacher this school year. I am so proud to be a part of all the great things happening at Bryan Road Elementary. I grew up in Morehead City, North Carolina. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I have always wanted to be a teacher.  I have taught in Greensboro, North Carolina, Royersford, Pennsylvania, and have been teaching for Wake County Public Schools since 2019 as a 5th and 2nd grade teacher. I am proud to say that this will be my 11th year teaching and there’s nothing I’d rather do. I love to make learning meaningful for students, and incorporate the elements of depth and complexity in all content areas. When I am not teaching, I love to visit the beach, work in the garden, bake, walk my dog, read, and spend time with my husband and two children.
