My name is Lisa Grove and I have taught in Wake County since 2005.  I have held many positions including: Instructional Facilitator, Literacy Coach, Special Education Teacher, Instructional Coach, Intervention Teacher, Mentor Coordinator, and Testing Coordinator. I was also a district trainer for two different reading programs.

I grew up in Hazleton, Pennsylvania (a little coal mining town in the Poconos), graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Special Education in 2005, and earned my Reading Specialist certification in 2013.  I also have certifications for teaching English as a Second Language and Academically Gifted Instruction.

I love reading, going to the beach, watching sports (go Phillies, Canes, Patriots, Panthers, and PSU!), and traveling to the Caribbean and Europe.   

I live in Cary with my husband, Josh, a graphic designer and our beautiful cat, CiCi.
