Hey Buccaneers! My name is Lauren Allen and this is my 1st year at Bryan Road! I am excited to be a part of the Bryan Road family! I am originally from Long Island, New York. Later, I spent many years growing up in Randolph, New Jersey. I attended Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I have also received my Master’s in Education with a focus in Literacy from UNC Charlotte. I have previously taught kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade over the past 10 years in North Carolina. I have also worked as an Elementary Learning Facilitator. I really enjoy working with students and seeing their academic growth throughout the school year!

Outside of school, I love spending time and traveling with my amazing husband, Michael and our cat, Tigger. I also love to play golf, listen to live music, watch sports (Go Eagles! Go Canes!) and spend time with friends and family. 

I am excited to work as an interventionist at Bryan Road this year and have the joy of working with various groups of students across several grade levels!
