Hello! My name is Kolby Murawski, and I am excited to be part of the Buccaneer crew! I grew up in Greensboro, N.C. and graduated from NC State University in 2014 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I have been teaching in Wake County for the past nine years, and have spent eight of those years in third grade! I recently earned my National Board Certification and am currently working towards earning my Master’s Degree in Reading. 

I am looking forward to working with the students and families at Bryan Road this year! Third grade will be a fun year full of challenges and new things to learn, and I am eager to help students grow and achieve their goals. I love creating a welcoming, positive classroom environment and making learning engaging for all students.  

When I am not at school, I love reading books, attending country music concerts, and cheering on the Canes and Wolfpack with my husband. I am also mom to a five-year-old cat named Binx. I can’t wait to meet my third graders and get started on an amazing school year!
