Hello Everyone! My name is Jaclyn Harper and I am thrilled to be part of the Bryan Road CREW! I am from Cary, NC and graduated in 2007 from NC State University with a degree in Mathematics Education. (Go PACK!) Throughout my teaching career, I have taught for Wake County Schools, and have both taught and served as an Instructional Leader for North Carolina Virtual. I have also been very involved in our school’s PTA since we opened, serving as PTA President for 2 years and helping to plan many of the fun events for our school. I officially came on as a teacher for Bryan Road in 2020, but am so thankful to have been part of the Bryan Road family long before that.

When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with my husband, Mike, and my daughter, Ava, who is currently in 6th grade. We also have three dogs (Rosie, Flynn and Lolo) who we love to spoil! A few of my favorite things to do include crafting, laughing, and spending time with my friends and family. I also love to shop, especially at Target! If I am not at school or at home, there is a good chance you will find me strolling down the aisles there :)

One thing my students can always count on is a classroom filled with love, laughter, and support. I truly believe that children learn best when they feel welcomed and comfortable in their environment. I cannot wait to get to know all of my 4th grade students and their families and go for the GOLD together! We are going to have a fantastic school year!
