Hello! I have been in education since 2006 after a brief career as a Recreational Therapist. I've served students and teachers in various roles such as Special Education Teacher, Literacy Coach, Instructional Coach, Data Coach, Reading Coordinator, and now my most recent role as the Intervention Coordinator and Data Coach! In 2015, I received my Master's Degree in Administration and Leadership. My family and I moved to Raleigh from Indiana in 2015 and love to explore various parks, mountains, and beaches! When I'm not at school, you can find me in our garden, kayaking, thrift shopping, or listening to a podcast on my porch with my cat, Jameson. Our two children attend MECME and I couldn't be prouder to work and be a parent here!

The thing that excites me the most about Environmental Connections is...

Teaching students to love and care for their environment. Getting students outside and learning from their environment is so important, especially in a tech-filled world! I love seeing our students care for our campus and connect with nature.
