My name is Meg Garst. I was born in Raleigh, NC, but I moved around often as a child so I spent a lot of my youth in Pennsylvania. I went to Penn State University and received a Bachelor's of Science in Communication Disorders. Go Nittany Lions!! I went on to receive a Master's of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from Indiana University. Go Hoosiers!! I have been a Speech Language Pathologist for 25 years and I have worked for Wake County Schools going on 13 years.

I have been married for 22 years to my husband, Clay, and we have 2 amazing daughters, Tessa (19) and Anna (17). I also have 2 dogs that I adore. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and going to beach.

Why I love what I do...

I love my field of Speech Language Pathology because every child has important things to say and I get to help them communicate effectively.
